Earth Hour and all its hoopla

Earth Hour is on us tommorrow. Most of us have already promised to switch of our electrical appliances for one hour and save our planet earth from carbon emission and global warming. But is it enough? Or is it OK? The majority of nations which where observing the earth hour in the previous years are all developed nations and they never faces the scenario of a power cut or tripping of power stations as we face every other day in India. I would like to reiterate here that knowingly or un-knowingly we indians observe earth hour every day through out the year. we face power cuts atleast every day. So is it necessary for us to observe the earth hour on March'28? i would say definetly yes. since the mass awareness it has created will obviously lead to more conservation of energy and resources which would help in the long run. So remember to swith off the appliances on 28th March from 8.30 to 9.30 p.m.
